Delete your FamGlow account & data
Delete your account in the app
You can permanently delete your FamGlow account and its data yourself, right from the app or the web. No email or waiting period is required.
- Open the FamGlow app on your phone, or sign in at app.famglow.com.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the account section and choose Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion. Your account is removed immediately.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account and connected Google or Apple identities.
- Your profile (name, email) and device push-notification registrations.
- If you are the last member of a family: the entire family and everything in it, including calendar connections and cached events, activities and tasks, shopping lists, trips, photos, reminders, notes, and any stored family facts.
- If other family members remain, your personal account and profile are removed; content that belongs to the shared family stays with the family.
Retention: data is removed from our live systems immediately when you delete your account. Encrypted database backups expire automatically and are fully purged within 35 days. We keep no copies after that.
Delete some data without deleting your account
Inside the app you can remove individual photos, events, activities, shopping items, trips, and stored family facts at any time; they are deleted from our servers when you remove them. If you want us to delete something specific for you, email us and we will take care of it.
